The doctor called this morning. You know it isn’t going to be a good call when they say, “We have some good news and some bad news for you.” Of course she told me the goods news first, and of course all I could think of was, well what is the bad news??? The good news was that his incision site looked clean and good. He was feeling good and acting more comfortable. The bad news. Since the surgery he has lost the pain sensation in his right foot. Now they have expected him to regress a bit after the surgery, but it is odd that he had pain sensation in that foot immediately after the surgery but now has none. They said this isn’t terrible, as it is too early to tell whether he has lost all use of that side. They are still very hopeful that he will regain use of both limbs. Please keep praying for him. I, for one, am praying that God does something miraculous in his case. But aside from that I am happy to see a little progress each day. He can come home today or tomorrow, so we need to start getting the house ready.
STILL PRAYING!!! I just can’t stop thinking about that video!! I’ve told so many of my “non-blogging” friends…. they’ve been coming on here and reading about Kane… now maybe this will prompt them to blog. The blogging world needs good peeps on here!! We’re ALL praying!!!

Thanks for the comment on my blog about family night. I responded on the post.
Pets are like family aren’t they? It’s gotta be so hard watching them struggle. Will be praying for you & Kane today.
I will keep all of you in our prayers…maybe getting Kane home will help in the healing process.
