Coming Tomorrow: To Scale, or Not to Scale…

If you are trying to lose weight and get fit should you weigh-in?  If so how often?  When?  What should you wear?  These are all good questions, and I have some good answers that should help to both liberate you from doubt and worry, as well as get you on track (or back on track) to continued success.  See you tomorrow!

    It depends on if your personality and motivational style. I weigh myself everyday, because to me it’s just one kind of data among many…and I don’t put too much importance on a single measurement.

    Friends of mine who are easily discouraged are careful to not weigh themselves too often, or under the wrong conditions.

    For instance, if I had a hotdog, chips, and a beer last night and I weight three pounds more, I don’t sweat it, because I know it’s just water, and will be gone tomorrow after a day of my usual diet and exercise.

    Some of my firends would panic, get depressed, and go on a chocolate binge. 🙂
