A good run, a good workout, a good day…

Wake-up (4:00 a.m.)

Just another morning of driving over an hour and forty five minutes, listening to Dennis Prager’s radio show on my I-pod, and wishing I wasn’t stuck with such a long commute.

Breakfast (4:10 a.m.)

Ham sandwich on 100% whole wheat bread, grapes, and creatine mixed with water.

Resistance Training (6:10 a.m. – 6:40 a.m.)

  1. Free Weight Squats: 200lbs x 12
  2. Chin-ups: 6
  3. Smith Machine Squats: 400lbs x 6
  4. Chin-ups: 6
  5. Leg Raise: 15
  6. Bench Press: 250lbs x 3
  7. Hyper-extensions: 15
  8. Dumbbell Shoulder Press: 50lbs x 12
  9. Alt. Side Crunch: 12 each
  10. Overhead Press: 45lbs x 12

Run (6:45 a.m. – 7:10 a.m.)

  1. Total Time: 23 minutes (2 min. warm-up/19 min. run/2 min. cool down).
  2. Distance: 1.87 miles
  3. Calories Burned: 252

Post Workout Snack (7:20 a.m.)

Myoplex protein shake

Snack (8:40 a.m.)

Pistachios

Lunch (11:00 a.m.)

High fiber cereal mix w/ 60% dark chocolate.

Snack (1:30 p.m.)

Whole orange and beef jerkey

    There’s a four o’clock in the morning as well? Wow. That’s early.

    Sorry to hear about the long commute. I thought my one hour each way commute was bad. I am very, very thankful for Podcasts and the Bible on mp3’s.

    Yeah, I just wish Ravi Zacharias put out more than one sermon per week, and moreover, I wish said sermons were longer than 35-45 minutes.
