Nothing all that strenuous took place today. Today was both a rest day and a bit of a day of indulgence food wise…
Breakfast (8:00 a.m.)
PB and J with water (2 cups)…
Snack (10:30 a.m.)
Kashi flax seed and honey bar with one square of 70% dark chocolate…
Lunch (1:30 p.m.)
McDonald’s Grilled chicken sandwich with only lettuce and tomato, small side of fries, and a small ice cream cone, diet coke…
Snack (4:30 p.m)
2 servings of pistachios. I must also admit to sneaking some cookie dough that my wife was rolling out for Easter cookies. Delicious and oh so unhealthy. Also water (3 cups)
Dinner (6:45 p.m.)
Leftover pizza, water (3 cups)
Before Bed (8:45 p.m.)
Cold water (3 cups)
Notes: A very relaxed day nutrition wise with plenty of unhealthy foods that I otherwise wouldn’t have eaten.
Why did I indulge?
Probably because, come Monday, I plan on a pretty hardcore week of car pushing, heavy weights, intense cardio (I begin the Couch to 5k program), and a very strict nutritional intake of high protein, lots of healthy carbs, and a proper proportion of fats.
