What if I told you I had a super-secret training method that could:
Cut your risk of heart attack by 50% (1); improve your immune system (2); burn more calories than running stairs (3);relieve headaches and arthritis pain (4); reduce your risk of developing Osteoporosis (5); make you healthier in general; and end your insomnia.(6); and it felt incredible.
Would you tell me, “No thanks.” I doubt it! Good thing it isn’t really a secret, otherwise I would be charging you three easy installments of 19.99 before I would divulge it.
So what is the not-so-secret secret to a better and healthier life? Sex. Yup, good old fashioned skin-to-skin contact. It seems that good health and good sex go hand in hand- each builds on the other. Are you Unhealthy? Chances are your sex life is likely suffering because of it. Are you not getting enough sex? Chances are you might just be unhealthy, and that extra weight around your waist is draining your libido, or worse, making your lance corporal refuse to salute the colors (so to speak). So how do you end the misery of a sexually unfulfilled life? Well the first step is finding a husband or wife willing to walk this particular path to fitness with you. After that it is a combination of time spent in the gym, on the road, and in the bedroom.
What you can do at the gym to help in the bedroom (or kitchen, or living room, or wherever you might indulge).
General– Be sure to incorporate both resistance training and cardiovascular work into your fitness routine. One will give you the strength necessary to maintain the positions you and your wife/husband enjoy, the other will ensure that you don’t run out of energy half-way through.
Try this: 3-4 days a week of cardio (outside of your “sexual” training routine) with 2-3 days of resistance training. Your cardio routine can begin with something as simple as a 20-30 minute brisk walk. Your resistance training should include both low-rep heavy weight exercises (Bench Press, Dead lift, and Squat), as well as high rep with light to moderate weight exercises like push-ups, crunches, lunges.
Don’t Forget– For ladies, try Kegel exercises. For both men and women, don’t forget to include work toward greater flexibility. You might want to begin by including pelvic lifts into your normal stretching routine. Or heck, just sign up for yoga.
I usually conclude posts by saying, “Enjoy!” In this case I think it goes without being said. HA!
