This congestion has settled in my chest which means the joy of those deep coughs that burn the esophagus.  I am hoping to be able to return to my workouts on Monday, but only time will tell.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. So sorry you’re not feeling well. I have asthma and am susceptible to upper respiratory infections. Drink plenty of fluids, and if you haven’t tried this, try boiling a pot of water. Put the pot on a towel on your table. Put a dab of Vicks into the pot (not while it’s on the stove!). Stick your face about 5 inches from the pot and inhale the steam. It helps to make a tent with a towel. This has helped me in the past. Hope you’ll be feeling better soon!

  3. So kiki, I am supposed to dunk my face in a pot of boiling water? Let me go give it a try! Thanks! HA!

in all seriousness I will give it a shot. I remember doing something similar when I was 15- except minus the Vicks- to help my acne. Hopefully this time it will work.

hang tough!..you’ll be as good as new soon!

  5. Sheesh, I think half the east coast has that cold/cough/fever thing. (I know I do.) I spent all of yesterday evening in bed, curled up under every blanket I could find, drinking NyQuil every time I woke up. Ugh….

  6. “drinking NyQuil”

Next time buy the Gelcaps! 🙂

  7. Will keep that in mind. The combination of apple cider, brownie, and NyQuil wasn’t very tasty… although the first two were.

damn man, hope you get well soon.

I was sick two weeks ago – I think it was food poisoning. I hardly ever get sick and that episode made me realize how much I LOVE being/feeling healthy. God bless on a swift recovery!!
