Day Thirty: A Plateau?

I weighed 191.6lbs this morning- the same thing I weighed yesterday morning.  I am not complaining.  Matter of fact, I am lucky that I didn’t GAIN weight since I broke down and ate half a bag of Thin Mints yesterday.  But now those are out of the house (I ate them all), so they won’t be a distraction today. Here’s to getting back on track.

  1. One of the beautiful things about a new day is that we’re given an opportunity to start over.

    The Thin Mints were yesterday, and yesterday is gone.

    I agree…here’s to getting back on track!

    Thats like me, now that the distraction is gone….
    mine is ice cream cake and there is 2 pieces still in the freezer, and they are SCREAMING my name!
    It’s killing me!
    Its best to get keep all distractions out of the house, but its hard with kids and spouses around. 🙂
    Especially when they arent on a diet.
    Take care and worry too much about the scale, the overall picture: you being healthy

  4. Ooohhh… Thin Mints. Don’t forget: chocolate makes you de-stress; stress produces cortisol, the hormone responsible for adding fat to the stomach area (and raising blood pressure), so it’s just a matter of the mass of the Thin Mints in your digestive tract, not any actual calories from them. The latter are inevitably balanced out by the fact that your body doesn’t go into stress/survival/hiberation mode and pack on the pounds in preparation for an Ice Age winter. 🙂
